Animal Adventure was launched in 1998 to develop and manufacture top-quality plush toys for regional department stores. We were soon making basic and seasonal toys for such high-profile accounts as Marshall Field's, and moving into the national specialty, grocery, and mid-tier channels as well, working with Cost Plus, Kroger, Shopko, and many others. We next began offering our internally designed products under our own brand as a complement to the custom products we made for our customers. In 2001, we expanded into plush toys for the infant market with our own baby collection. Since 2005, we've focused on working with large mass-market retailers such as Target, Toys 'R' Us, Zellers, collaborated with M&M's World and Hershey's Chocolate World, other well-known licensed brands as a contract manufacturer. We made a bold move into the fledgling pet-toy category in 2006 in a partnership with Petsmart, followed by Target.
We are proud that such household-name retailers trust us to produce toys under their brands. We continue to expand our portfolio of our own proprietary designs and collections, which helps us anticipate new trends and navigate the complexities of the manufacturing landscape in China and elsewhere.
