Sales Account Manager
I began my retail career over 25 years ago in the buying office of Dayton Hudson (Target) Corporation; first in Kids Apparel and Toys and then in Cosmetics. I joined the amazing Animal Adventure team in 2005, initially in Trend and then quickly moved to Sales as we pursued the Target business. My job as the Sales Account Manager is to partner with the buying teams across all departments we sell into, working with them on all tasks related to the successful implementation and execution of both their National and Owned Brand product categories. This includes building topline growth strategies for each business, developing seasonal product assortments with viable planogram solutions, assisting in accurate ordering and sales forecasting, monitoring in-season sales numbers in order to drive the chase/cancel process and everything in between. I also work closely with our SVP in Sales to provide training and mentorship to other Account Managers and Sales Reps within our organization.
Personal Facts: I graduated from Miami University in Ohio with degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing. Originally from Illinois, I have called Minneapolis my home since 1996. My husband and I met in college and were married in 2001. We have one son in college. When not working, I am very likely watching Bravo while obsessively online shopping and talking on the phone to friends. All at the same time.
